A growing and dynamic collection.
Our children's reading area has been upgraded and contains hundreds of books for all ages. We hope to see a lot of activity in this room throughout the year.
Pre-teens and Teens
Hundreds of titles are available for young teens through high school aged readers.
There is a little "bookstore" just outside the solarium entrance to the library. It is full of very gently used or like new donations! Please come in and give some of the books on this cart a new home (and make a small cash donation if you can).
Our quiet reading space has been upgraded. In this room adults can read, peruse books to check out, play a quiet board or card game, or add a few pieces to the ongoing jigsaw puzzle while enjoying a cup of tea or cocoa. Comfortable chairs, natural lighting, soft lamps and plants enhance the comfort of the space.
We are happy to announce two new features to our library.
- We have been awarded custody of a sweet Wurlitzer spinet piano by the Community Center. It has been cleaned and tuned and is anxiously awaiting anyone to come and give it some much needed attention. Come and play for us!
- We have set up a little "Maker Space" in the children's space. Anyone is welcome to come in and use this space for crafting, drawing, painting, stamping, jigsaw puzzles, or anything else you might want to create or assemble. As long as you leave it like you found it, feel free to use this space.
Local Artist and Artisan Displays.
If you are a local artist or artisan (or know someone who is) and would like to display work at the library, please contact us.
