Treats for our Christmas Storytime Guests
Library Events
Mercer Shaw Library joins the fun of holiday Community Center festivities such as the Easter Egg Hunt, Trunk or Treat and Christmas Storytime in cooperation with Library Trustee Gaylene Williams. |
Several seating areas are available for patrons to read, peruse books to check out, cordially converse or maybe play the piano! Comfortable chairs, natural lighting, soft lamps, and local artwork displays enhance the comfort of the space.
Do you play the Piano?
We have a sweet Wurlitzer spinet piano in our sitting room. It is ready and waiting for anyone to play. We invite you to come in and give it a 'Wurl' . Take a break from screentime and the pressures of your day in our Take-a-Break Nook in the Remote Workspace. Enjoy soft lighting, background sounds, pleasant aromas and comfy chairs. There's ongoing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, plenty of reading material to choose from, or just put your feet up and close your eyes for a few minutes. Headphones available.
